The Crisis of the youth.

In 2015, the Academy of Honor was developed out of a desperate desire to address one of the greatest crisis in the history of our Republic. One of the greatest threat to the future of this Republic is the character, beliefs and values of it’s youth. In the words of Sen Dan Coats, “Never before has one generation of American teenagers been… less prepared for life than their parents were at the same age.” This is not a positive cultural shift. This is a shift that may mean the end of the Republic as we know it. While everything is being redefined with new experiments of; the family, morality, truth, right and wrong; there has never been a greater need to mentor a new generation that would embody the time-tested traditional values of honor, leadership and character development. This is the best way to combat this crisis of character.

Honor, Leadership and Character Development matters today more than ever! Our nation and communities need individuals who have ethics, values, respect, civility, compassion, human dignity and are willing to lead from their heart. If you ask me to show you how the future of our nation will be like, I would not look further from the character of our youth today. There is hope. We can mentor one youth at a time. The Academy of Honor has a 2020 vision of mentoring 10,000 youth in Honor, Leadership and Character Development so that they may rise to their full potential. We have produced some of the most awesome results in a short time.
The purpose of the Academy of Honor is to instill and promote the importance of caring, citizenship, fairness, respect, responsibility, and trustworthiness within our students and teach practices that model and reflect the following pillars of character:
  • Honor
  • Character development
  • Leadership
  • Trustworthiness
  • Respect
  • Responsibility
  • Integrity
  • Caring
  • Citizenship
  • Excellence
